This Privacy Policy explains how EquFAUCET.com ("Site," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described herein.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account & Authentication Data

  • Email address | for account creation, login, and support.
  • Display name | the username you choose, shown on leaderboards and public areas.
  • Third-party profile data | if you sign in via a third-party authentication provider, we may receive basic profile information. We do not receive your passwords for these third-party services.
  • Password | stored securely using industry-standard hashing. We never store your plaintext password.

1.2 Financial & Transactional Data

  • Credits username and TRX wallet address you provide for withdrawals.
  • Internal balance records (Credits and TRX credited, debited, withdrawn).

1.3 Technical & Device Data

  • IP address | logged at registration, login, and claim events for fraud prevention and VPN detection.
  • Browser fingerprint | generated using standard browser identification technologies. A hash is stored (not the raw fingerprint) to detect duplicate account attempts. This data is not shared with third-party tracking services.
  • Browser type, operating system, and access timestamps.

1.4 Cookie Data

  • Authentication cookies | HttpOnly, Secure session tokens (JWT) used to keep you logged in. These are strictly necessary and cannot be opted out of while using the authenticated areas of the Site.
  • Consent cookie | stores your cookie preference (localStorage key, no server-side tracking).

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To process offer completions, credit balances, and fulfill withdrawal requests.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, multi-accounting, bot activity, and VPN misuse.
  • To comply with applicable law.
  • To communicate service updates (via the email address on file).

3. Data Sharing

3.1 Third-Party Earning Providers

EquFAUCET does not currently embed or route rewards through any third-party earning provider. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated before any provider-specific data sharing begins.

3.2 Authentication Providers

If you use third-party authentication services, login is handled by their infrastructure. Their respective Privacy Policies apply to data processed by them.

3.3 Security & Anti-Abuse Providers

Your IP address and other connection metadata may be submitted to third-party security services at login and registration to detect VPN/proxy usage and prevent abuse.

3.4 No Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use only strictly necessary cookies (authentication JWT tokens) and local storage for consent preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. You can view and manage your consent via the banner shown on first visit.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the life of your account and for a necessary period after deletion to comply with legal obligations. IP logs and audit logs are retained for a limited period. Hashed browser fingerprints are retained indefinitely for fraud prevention.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:

  • Access | request a copy of data we hold about you.
  • Rectification | correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure | request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
  • Portability | receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Opt-out of “sale” (CCPA) | we do not sell data, so this right is inherently satisfied.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard measures including secure password hashing, secure tokens, parameterized database queries, and VPN/proxy detection. However, no system is 100% secure. You use the Site at your own risk.

8. Children

The Site is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
